1 - Coverage
Check to ensure the possibility of broadband phone providers have coverage in your area, or areas that often. This time most of Europe has good coverage (Edge, 3G broadband speed is available almost everywhere, although not fully spread) 3G coverage is most desirable because it is fast - as fast as Edge even if 3G is not simple enough for browsing and email.
2 - Download Allowance
This is an important factor to consider. A data allowance is the amount of data that allowed to download as part of the contract / plan. Download allowances generally ranges from 1GB to 5GB a month.
First you need to know how much you plan to use mobile broadband. If you only intend to use your broadband phone to check emails 1GB per month plan that will most likely be enough. But if you plan to Browsing video site or social networks you should consider the plan at least one month for 5GB limit - maybe more. Fees for exceeding your download limit can be expensive - please read this section of each prospective provider's plan carefully before making a decision.
3 - broadband connection speed
The relationship of two 3G broadband speeds and sharp. 3G gives nedladdningshastighet to 7.2 Mbps, Edge nedladdningshastighet provides 400kbps average. Modern mobile broadband adapters support all these standards so that eventually the download speed depends on your coverage (See 1.)
4 - Contract Length
There is a long-term contracts could be signed during 12-24 months and they usually provide data allowance prices better. Long subscriptions often with little or laptop netbook so worth considering. Alternative is a pay-as-you-go plan for those who wish to enter into the contract the best plan for the person you intend to use the phone but the heavy-efficient broadband internet users should be aware that the pay-as-you-go plans typically pay more per GB instead of subscription plans.
5 - The Modem / ADAPTER
The Adapter is the equipment that you will be connected to the Internet from your laptop while traveling. There are two major mobile broadband, USB Adapter and PCMCIA. USB ADAPTER (as the name suggested) Plugs only in the USB port of your laptop - PCMCIA ADAPTER parts slide in your laptop PCMCIA slot. Many broadband phone providers use a USB adapter. Broadband service providers to provide ADAPTER as part of your contract - some free, some for a nominal fee.
